WHAT DOES REVL MEAN?

For a long time, I thought drinking was part of being alive.

It was there when I celebrated, when I went out, when I wanted to loosen up, when I wanted to shut something off.

Until I started losing pieces of my life to the thing I thought made life more fun.

There are nights I don’t remember.

Versions of myself I barely recognize.

Years when everything could look fine from the outside while I knew something was very fucking wrong.

Eventually, I was done.

I stopped drinking.

I thought sobriety would mean giving something up.

Instead, I started getting my life back.

And I wanted more of it.

I wanted to go out. Dance. Travel. Get stronger. Make things. Change things. Stay up too late sometimes. Wake up early other times. Feel everything. Remember everything.

I wanted to revel in my life.

That became REVL.

A sober club built on a very simple belief:

ALIVE IS BETTER THAN NUMB.

We make things for people who stopped drinking and kept living.

For the ones questioning what everyone else calls normal.

For the ones raising their standards.

For the ones discovering that sobriety can be loud, strange, sexy, funny, ambitious, messy, creative and very fucking alive.

This started with alcohol.

It was never only about alcohol.
